Good list. Many things I don't know. But, Jacob, nothing is from before mid last century except Valery? Intentional? What about a list of classics?
I'm afraid I haven't read any classics.
Also... The Manuscript Found in Saragossa was written between 1805 and 1815. And The Seven Madmen was first published in 1929. (But I suppose both books were largely ahead of their time.)
